The Stepping Into Success program will focus on Nebraska's career readiness standards - employability skills identified by Nebraska businesses and industry as the most essential skills sought after by employers in our state and nationwide. These skills increase in complexity and relevance as you progress in your career(s) throughout your lifetime. They are transferable to postsecondary education and training, to any career, to any workplace, and many other environments in the community. We believe every Nebraska youth, regardless of background, interest, or intent after graduation need these skills. Youth participantswill connect with business and industry mentors and extension educators in synchronous Zoom meetings and apply and reflect on their learning through asynchronous activities.
